Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan, better known as Sundar Picha is an Indian-American business executive. He is one of the chief executive officers (CEOs) of Alphabet Inc., its subsidiary Google and was born in Madurai in India.[4Pichai graduated with a master's degree in metallurgical engineering at IIT Kharagpur. He obtained an M.S. in the United States after moving to the United States. He earned a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University. He also obtained an MBA from the Wharton School of Pennsylvania. After a brief stint with McKinsey and Co. as a management consultant, Pichai was hired by Google in 2004 as the head of the management of product and innovation for various Google's client products. They comprised ChromeOS and ChromeOS. He also ran Google Drive. He also oversees the creation of Google Maps, Gmail, and other apps. In 2010 Pichai also announced the open-sourcing of the new video codec VP8 created by Google and introduced the new format for video, WebM. 2012 saw the launch of Chromebook. Pichai further added Android to the Google products he was managing in 2013.
