Torrie Wilson

Torrie Anne Wilson (born July 24 1975) is an American former professional wrestler and model. Her most notable achievements are with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) which was previously known as the World Wrestling Federation. In 1999, Wilson won Miss Galaxy. After a short time she was accepted by World Championship Wrestling (WCW) which she was with from 1999 until 2000. [2][7][8] Her 2001 appearances on World Wrestling Federation television were part of The Invasion (a WCW storyline which was later named the WWF). [5] The most notable storylines took place in 2002 where she was battling Dawn Marie. [5][9] Then in 2003 she was paired together with Sable. Wilson is also member of the all-female stable (i.e., a group of characters who are storyline-related) also known as Vince's Devils that was canceled in 2006.Aside from pro wrestling, Wilson has been on the covers of several magazines that include FHM as well as Playboy (which Wilson posed for twice, with one featuring both Wilson and Sable).Wilson was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019. Wilson's first wrestling experience began when she was at a World Championship Wrestling (WCW) event with her boyfriend in 1999. After a backstage visit after the show, she was asked to walk out to the ring along with Scott Steiner. [7] Kevin Nash expressed interest in writing a storyline together with her later. [5][7][9] She first appeared on the February 8th, 1999 episode of Nitro (later called "Samantha"). The plot was that Wilson was recruited to seduce David Flair by the New World Order. [5][14] The two appeared together at SuperBrawl IX on February 21st and Wilson was slapped Ric as David hit his with a Taser. 15 days after Ric took home the WCW World Heavyweight Championship from Hollywood Hogan at Uncensored inside a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match, David and Wilson took some time off from WCW television in April , before returning in May to accompany David to the arena for matches. Wilson was Flair's valet in 1999's Bash at the Beach. He won the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship from Dean Malenko.
