Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actor who is best famous for her character House in the Fox medical drama House. After being raised by conservative Jews in Wayne, New York City was the place she went to pursue her studies in the theater at Tisch. She became very involved with the clubs in New York City and made enough noise that she was recognized by the media. At the same time, she was becoming more aware of AIDS' devastating effects. She eventually used her experience and fame to create and write the musical called Positive Me which she was a part of. Awake In the Wild Side was her next task.
