Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on April 16th, 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a banker in the past. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. His father was Argentine with Scottish-English descent. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four siblings. One of them is from each of her parents' prior marriages. They lived in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and later moving to Victoria district of London. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos aires to Victoria was a struggle and she was not able to take the time to learn English in hopes of going home to Argentina. Hill House, a school in the same district as Northlands was obligated to accept her. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school productions. At the age of 16 she left the school to pursue a profession as an actress full-time. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actress from a very young age. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
